Abstract : A new Laser Grating Velocimeter - Granulometer has been designed and manufactured for EDF applications concerning wet stream turbines. A signal processing system based on FFT technique, similar to the one used for PDPA systems, has been adapted for this probe. In this paper the technical details of design and manufacturing of the probe and its signal processing system are described. Some of the results obtained during the qualification and testing of the probe are also provided. ( Author)
