Abstract : The patent relates to the crossover circuit used to process the sum and difference returns of a monopulse radar, particularly a monopulse vertically scanning radar as used in an airborne automatic terrain following system. The purpose of the invention is to simplify the crossover circuit by reducing the frequency response requirements of the processing amplifiers while at the same time providing a more reliable response to returns from a point source such as a television tower.
