Abstract : The purpose of this investigation was to examine various elements that make up the entire decision-making process in order to determine which elements may be improved most by training and which are most critical to successful decisionmaking performance. The report consists of five experiments, each dealing with different problems of the decision-making process. In general these experiments are concerned with three major problem areas: (1) perceptual problems involved in displaying decision-making information, (2) subjective probability, and (3) the evaluation of available human decision-making models.
