Abstract : The effect of the temperature of a fully ionized plasma on its conductivity in the presence of a radio wave is investigated, taking into consideration the finite wavelength of the radio wave. The order of the effect is kT/(ma squared) where T is the temperature of the gas, m the mass of an electron, k the Boltzmann constant, and a the phase velocity of the wave. (Author)
