Abstract : A mathematical study is made of the theory and application of generalized inversions of an arbitrary rectangular matrix through the use of Neumann-Euler expansions for the Moore-Penrose inverse of an arbitrary matrix. Projection properties based upon the classical theorems such as the Fredholm alternative, and matrix series identities of Moebius type, are developed.
