Abstract : Theexperimental arrangement consists of three major parts, the conducting dielectri medium, the axil-line measuring equipment, and the impedance bridge which is used to measure the ielecnant andthe cnucity of the edium. One of the vertical walls of the woodn ankwhich holdsthe conducting dielectric is made of an aluminum image plane into which is connected a horizontalcoaxil line, the inner conductor of which is extended through the metal plane into the dilectrc in the tank.
