Abstract : Phase locking of millimeter sources was demonstra ed with a beat being obtained between two klystron harmonics at 168 kmc. Interferometer have been designed and are being te ted. Filters, necessary for determining he power attainable at the harmonic of interes , have been d signed and are being tested. Microwave spectro copy, inclu ing Stark effect studies, has been performed. Construction of the various parts of the beam apparatus is progressing and should be completed during the next quarter.
