Abstract : The purpose of this analysis is to show that similar results hold in a much more general case, when iA is a non-real multiple or an infinitesimal generator of a one parameter group of bounded operators in Banach spaces. The advantage of the result in this more general situation is that it applies to general Banach spaces and admits a much wider range of applications to differential problems. (Author)
