Abstract : The solar abundances of 21 elements (Na, Sc, Cu, Zn, Ga, Ge, Sr, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Ru, Rh, Pd, Ag, Cd, In, Sn, Sb, Ba, and Yb) were revised with the aid of new gf-values obtained by C. Corliss of the National Bureau of Standards. Somimplications of the new measurements are discussed and it is emphasized that a comprehensive reconsideration of solar abundances should be undertaken, in which ions as well as neutral atoms and a new model solar atmosphere are used.
