Abstract : Six high pressure bottles were fabricated and tested in order to determine the glass exhibiting higher strength of the two types tested, and to compare the effects of elevated temperature on 801-finish glass. The strength qualities at 75 F of Owens-Corning ECG-140 continuous-filament roving glass with an 801 epoxy compatible finish and the same glass with an HTS epoxy compatible finish were tested. The strength qualities of Owens-Corning ECG-140 continuous filament roving glass with an 801 epoxy compatible finish was tested at 75 and 250 F. (Author)
