Abstract : The present article is devoted to a consideration of a bounded, plane, circular problem involving three points: earth - moon - material point. Thus the motion of a point is affected only by the Newtonian forces of the earth's and the moon's gravitation. The Levi-Civita method is described for studying collision trajectories, the method which we applied to the trajectories required for a point to hit the moon. The results obtained are used to find the approximate initial conditions ensuring a hit on the moon at a predetermined moment of time. The question of the magnitude of the relative selenocentric velocity of a point entering the sphere of action of the moon on the first passage is discussed.
