Abstract : T i i ves ig ion w s made to de rmine creep properties at elevated te p ra ures of hot-rolled ann al eet A110-AT titanium alloy. Tests were conducted at 800, 1000, and 1100 F on sheet specim s cut parall l o e ir ction of rolling. Differences in properties with respect to chemical composition of the ma erial from two sources were small. The data includes ultima e t nsil , sil yield trength, and creep properties at each temperature. Ultimate tensile strengths varied from 132,000 psi at room temperature to 62,300 p i at 1100 F. Cr ep deformation becomes more rapid at the wo higher te peratures i dicating that 1000 F is clos to th upper us ful temperature limit of this alloy. There was marked scatter of the creep properties of the alloy at 1000 and 1100 F, but the verage rength properties are good. (Author)
