Abstract : The temperature dependence of the ferromagnetic Hall effect of polycrystalline gadolinium is presented and discussed. It was concluded that the net effect is probably the result of the spin-orbit interaction of the conduction electrons of d and s character together with a spindependent scattering probability. Several sources of a spin-dependent scattering probability are discussed. (Author)
