Abstract : Research continued on ring-plane slow wave circuits for use with high-perveance beams in traveling-wave tubes capable of operating above 35 kmc. A brief summary is given of the propagation characteristics and interaction impedance for the ring-plane slow-wave structures. Various struct res for coupling energy into ring-plane circuits from conventional transmission lines are described. Electron guns for use in hot testing of these circuits are discussed. (Author)
