Abstract : Measurements of lunar radio emission on wavelengths of from 0.4 to 3.2 cm conclusively show that the surface layer of the moon is approximately homogeneous, at least to a depth of about a meter. These findings invalidate the hypothesized two-layer structure. To compare the electrical parameters of lunar and terrestrial rocks, measurements were made of the angle of loss and of the dielectric constant of volcanic rocks. (Author)
