Abstract : A proposed device for distinguishing numbers by absolute v lue differs from known devices in that a line of determination of the absolute value is used which consists of a sequence of serie -connected coincidence circuits and collector circuits corresponding to a given digit. One of the inputs of each collector circuit is connected to the output of a coincidence circuit of a given digit, while the second input is connected to the output of the '01' circuit of the summator. The first input of the coincidence circuit is connected to the output of the collector circuit of the previous digit, and the second, to the output of the '00' or '11' collector circuit of the summator. This provides an increase in the speed of operation and ensures obtaining the result of a comparison of numbers by absolute value simultaneously with the performance of the operation. (Author)
