Abstract : A battery of auditory tests was administered to a group of 27 patients with sensorineural hearing loss and once to 30 normal listeners. The battery included conventional air- and bone-conduction audiograms, speech threshold and discrimination tests, Bekesy audiograms for sweep and fixed frequency, and TDT and SISI tests. Indices of both absolute and relative consistency were computed for each measure from the testretest data. Each measure was evaluated in terms of these indices, as well as in terms of its efficiency, in differentiating between individuals with normal hearing and those with sensorineural hearing loss.
