Abstract : An investigation is presented which deals with the joint solution of the equation of heat conductivity for a liquid and a solid (wall of the tube) at the input part of the tube where the heat boundary layer is considerably thinner than the radius of the tube R. In practice, the input area occupies the whole length of the tube. As is known, in the tube there is established a Poiseuille parabolical profile of the velocities u = u sub O (1-r squared/R squared), where u sub O is the maximum velocity in the center of the tube (r = 0). At the input area instead of r a new variable y = R-r is introduced and is limited by small values (y<<R). (Author)
