Abstract : I ENTIFIERS: Mathematical model. A parametric method of terrain representation is presente for pl y of line of sig . The paper delinea es th mathematical rel tionships, in terms of conditional probability density functions, for the probability that lin of ig t ists b yond a given range, and discusses he relationship b tween the natural frequency of occurrence of obscuri g p aks and the probability func ions.
