Abstract : The body of the light is made of Silumin alloy in two versions -- with flanges for placement on a cantilever bracket (SKN-140) and with lugs for use as a suspended light (SPN-140). Attached to the body by screws is a reflector, painted with white enamel, which in turn serves as a bearing element of the lamp. One end of the lamp is inserted into the socket, and the other is held in horizontal position by a spring loop. Attached to the bulb (which is made of org-glass) there are, on the inside two prismatic inserts which redistribute the light flow of the lamp in the desired directions. The bulb opens downward and, in its closed position, is held shut by two victrola-type clasps. (Author)
