Attachment techniques for both cooperative and uncooperative vehicles were formulated. The equations of motion associated with vehicle connection and docking were derived. I NVE IGATIONS WERE ALSO DIRECTED TOWARD THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE EXPERIME TAL VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ORBITAL ATTACHMENT MECHANISMS. A series of basic parameters requiring investigation were identified; basic techniques utilizing analytical and physical models were de er in , a a cur ory exa ination of selected concepts with respect to verification requirements and potential techniques was made.
