Abstract : The algebraic Rainich conditions and the differential relations of Wheeler and Misner which form the basis of the already-unified field theory are usually obtained from the Einstein Maxwell system of equations by rather laborious tensor analysis. These results are obtained by utilizing classical matrix theory and a special local coordinate system.
