Abstract : Results are given of a series of studies conducted to form the basis for the design of PYE WACKET feasibility test vehicles. Detailed studies (including wind tunnel tests), were conducted in the areas of aerodynamics, control system, structures and test vehicle performance. All studies were based on sea level flight environment. The complete task is reported in three volumes: Volume I -- Summary, Volume II -- Aerodynamics, and Volume III -- Configuration and Autopilot/Control. (Author)
