Abstract : Visits were made to 17 destroyers equipped with ASPECT classification equipment in the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets. Measurements were made of the electrical status of the equipment and interviews were conducted with sonar enlisted and ASW officer personnel aboard each ship. Interviews were designed to determine whether ASPECT is accepted and regularly used by shipboard personnel. (Author)
