Abstract : Three gels and one emulsion containing aluminum powder dispersed in hydrazine have been evaluated using nitrogen tetroxide as oxidizer. The gels included Alumizine 33G40, TX-6202, and Alumizine 43G32. The emulsion evaluated was manufactured in-house. All test firings were conducted in a small, uncooled liquid rocket engine operating at a nominal 300 psia chamber pressure and a thrust level of approximately 100 lbs. A discussion of the preparation of the aluminum-hydrazine emulsion is included.
