Abstract : Investigations of the aerodynamic spike nozzle concept are discussed in this report. Cold-flow test programs to evaluate high area ratio aerodynamic spike nozzles and combustion configurations for aerodynamic spike nozzles were completed. A description of the models tested and the test results are presented. Analytical and design studies of the aerodynamic spike nozzle concept were conducted and the results are presented. (Author)
