Abstract : The main investigations were carried out with artificially infected human blood and the blood of typhoid or paratyphoid patients. Rabbit salmonella monoreceptor sera and fluorescent antirabbit gamma-globulin conjugate (dimethyl aminosulfochloride labeled) were used for inves tigations. The fluorescent antibody method for accelerated diagnosis of typhoid and paraty phoid fevers could be regarded as a tentative one. The employment of the fluorescent anti body method accelerated the blood examination results by 12-24 hours.
