Abstract : An interpretation of the results on iodine atom recombination in nitric oxide is given, which makes possible the separate determination of the equilibrium constant K and the rate constant of the reaction I NOI NO I2. Further ex perimental work on this reaction is reported and the construction of a new improved flash photolysis apparatus is described. (Author)
