Abstract : Thin films of indium antimonide vapordeposited on oxide-coated surfaces of aluminum or tantalum offer an advantage in the fabrication of thin film Hall generators because of the superior thermal conductance between the film and substrate. The deposition and recrystallization of InSb films on oxidemetal substrates have been investigated in detail. Additional studies on the magnetic circuit associated with Hall generators are described and the flux concentrator problem is treated empirically. (Author)
