Abstract : The principal conclusions of the project effort are: that the interference to a radar PPI scope can be predicted with a high probability of accuracy for a known environment; that the interference prediction modelling of transmitter spectrum, receiver selectivity, antenna pattern, terrain reflections, and PPI display is adequately represented to obtain predictions well within the accuracy of the other parameters; that the median error in propagation path loss prediction could be reduced with more exact prediction routines, but even the simplified computation provide an accuracy within the range of observed variation in propagation attenuation; and that these results can be applied to the solution of existing operational problems.
