Abstract : Functions performed by an advanced model of a special-purpose computer and display system, Automatic Rocket Impact Predictor (ARIP), are described. Based on atmospheric data and rocket flight parameters, mathematical equations are solved on a high-speed computer and provide prefiring information for the prediction of impact points of the unguided stages of multistage rockets. Equations and circuit diagrams describing specific applications of various system components and techniques are given in the appendixes. (Author)
