A four day training course ad ministered to a group of experienced photo inter preters effected 50 percent reduction in time re quired to identify military targets with no loss in either accuracy or completeness. Data analy sis also indicated significant interactions among interpreters measures and such display var iables as image scale, target to background con trast, and image complexity. This report will be of particular interest to persons concerned with photo interpretation research and training. (Author)
