Abstract : An investigation of an oxalic acid chemical dosimetry procedure for determining high levels of gamma radiation emanating from a Co-60 source, is described. The procedure recommended herein is accurate and easily performed with common laboratory equipment. It can be utilized for the measurement of gamma radiation in the range of 1.6 x 10 to the 6th power to 6 x 10 to the 7th power rads. (Author)
