Abstract : Theory and techniques for measurements of interest in this program are discussed briefly. Experimental results of measurements made on selected ferroelectrics are reported. These measurements include (1) insertion loss and phase shift as a function of sample thickness at 35 Gc, (2) dielectric constant as a function of temperature measured at 1 Kc, (3) transmission as a function of frequency from 26.5 Gc to 40 Gc, and (4) response to dc biasing fields at 35 Gc. For these measurements, four compositions of barium-strontium titanate ceramic were selected along with single crystal samples of triglycine sulfate. (Author)
