Abstract : The paper considers the linear ordinary differential system with constant coefficients. An explicit solution of the system is stated in finite terms. By means of this solution, a theoretical ground is stated for the application of the method of indeterminate coefficients to the obtaining of a particular solution of the system. A particular case is analyzed. A correspondence is established between the differential systems and the matrix equation XB  AX = U. The general solution of the matrix equation is obtained by means of the results previously proved and of the general theory of the differential systems with constant coefficients. (Author)
