Abstract : The collection contains articles which describe the experience of using aerial methods in geobotanical and soil mapping under various natural conditions of the forest, steppe, semi-desert and desert zones, and also in marine landscapes. The articles reflect the specific features of using aerial methods in solving various practical questions such as lumbering, botanical-fodder and soil-reclamation. As the research shows, the use of aerial surveying significantly raises the accuracy and concreteness in the map contents and at the same time increases the productivity of the mapping work. The results of the research can be extensively used by specialists in the area of agricultural mapping, and by scientific workers such as geobotanists, soil scientists, landscape experts, engineers, and by fodder experts, reclamation workers and farming experts.
