Abstract : The objective of this report is to combine all theoretical efforts to date and new theoretical developments under this contract into an effective method for predicting the surface water wave spectrum generated by surface or underwater explosions. Particular importance has been stressed on the data presentation in order to facilitate the use of this prediction method by those unfamiliar with the complicated analysis of the phenomena involved. The data is presented, in large, by graphical means and the user may obtain all pertinent information about the initial wave envelope by merely reading a series of graphs and performing some elementary multiplications. More detailed information about the actual waves present in the envelope may be obtained by some table searching and a minimal number of elementary multiplications. (Author)
