Abstract : On the basis of X-ray, melting point, metallographic, and differential thermoanalytical studies on molybdenum-boron and tungsten-boron alloys, constitution diagrams for both binary systems are presented. In the high temperature regions, the newly established phase diagrams differ significantly from previously reported systems. The results are discussed and compared with available literature data.
