Abstract : The purpose of this program is to establish the relationships between raw materials and processing variables and the quality of ablative plastic nozzle components. Wrapping and hydroclave curing schedules were developed in this first quarter of work and cylinders of selected carbon fabric and silica fabric reinforced phenolic were fabricated. A tentative relationship was established between the as-wrapped density of the cylinders and the variables of resin advancement and resin solids content. (Author)
