Abstract : The equation for the molecular radiometric force and moment on a body with convex surface enclosed by an arbitrary closed system in the Knudsen regime has been presented based on the revised theory of thermal transpiration established recently by Wu. Two exact solutions of the molecular vane-radiometers in a cylindrical tube and rectangular duct have been obtained in closed forms and calculated through numerical computation. These solutions reduce to the classical theory developed by Knudsen in the limit of infinitely large containers. (Author)
