Abstract : Kissinger's method for determining rate parameters in a single chemical reaction from the results of DTA tests was investigated using a mathematical model of the DTA test apparatus. The method was found to give satisfactory results provided that requirements on certain construction details and operating conditions were met. A suggested modification to Kissinger's method did not give satisfactory results. (Author)
