Abstract : Grinding Ratios (G Ratios) for aerospace alloys are presented in tabular form. Classes of alloys for which G values are given include alloy steels; ultra-high strength steels; tool steels; stainless steels, including precipitation hardening stainless steels; titanium alloys; nickel, cobalt, and iron base high temperature alloys, both wrought and cast; refractory alloys and important structural nonmetallic materials. All data are derived from controlled grinding tests. (Author)
