Abstract : Many authors have attempted the derivation of the Boltzmann equation from the B-B-G-K-Y equations, but none of them has succeeded in the derivation without the assumption of weak collision. The reason for saying so is explained by taking the case of Kirkwood and Ross in Appendix A.
