Abstract : Atmospheric property data up to 400,000 feet are fit with polynomials. The source data are taken from the ARDC Model Atmosphere 1959, (Handbook of Geophysics, Revised Edition). A complete subroutine which calculates these properties may be obtained from the Scientific Programming Section; Program No. SP8. The subroutine is written in FORTRAN 2 for the IBM 1410 Computer.
