Abstract : The objective of this study was to record observations in the field on individual animals in their natural state. This information covers the period from early June to early September on Arno Atoll. Since the vertebrates (other than some of the lizards) found here are widely ranging over large areas in the Pacific and are well known, it was not thought necessary to do much collecting of specimens, aside from picking up an individual or two to look for parasites and stomach contents. 140 vertebrate specimens, most of them lizards, were collected.
