Abstract : Research studies were conducted to develop a pressure sensitive personnel detection system. The results of the latest research efforts are an improved chemical system and device which can be actuated by pressure of the foot under a greater variety of terrain conditions and yields a loud audible response. Demonstration was made at Eglin Air Force Base during April 1968 in cooperation with monitors of the Air Force Armament Laboratory (ATCB).
