Abstract : Regular and irregualr wave tests were conducted on five models of high-speed, displacement-type naval vessels. The effect of wave height on the behavior of the models was investigated. Nonlinear behaviour was found for the heave of a hull with a large bulbous bow and a wide transom stern. (Author)
