Abstract : Interrelations among certain factors predisposing to coronary heart disease were evaluated in a prospective study of healthy young men followed for an 18-year period. Analyses of these noncontinuous data by means of chi squares and contingency coefficients reveal significant associations. Pertinent findings are discussed in relation to present knowledge of the epidemiology of coronary heart disease. (Author)
