Title :   FEDERAL FIRE EXPERIENCE FOR FISCAL YEAR 1961.

Corporate Author : FEDERAL FIRE COUNCIL WASHINGTON D C

Report Date : 1941

Pagination or Media Count : 34

Abstract : The number of fire fatalities, fire injuries, and property wastage from fire, all showed significant increases for Fiscal Year 1961 over Fiscal Year 1960. Much of this increase, particularly in property damage, can be attributed to one single fire. The increase in fire fatalities and injuries are more directly attributable to the improved reporting of fire losses by the Federal agencies to the Council. For instance, this report includes, for the first time, injuries and deaths occurring from aerospace vehicle fires. And again, this report includes for the first time, Bureau of Employees' Compensation figures on injuries and deaths from fire. Please note however, that only those BEC injuries and deaths not reported by the Federal agencies were included in the grand total to avoid duplication.
