Abstract : In this report equations of second approximation are investigated of the hypersonic theory of small perturbations. The system of equations, which was obtained by introducing a flow function of second approximation, is reduced to one nonlinear differential equation in partial derivatives. Discussed is also the problem of directing a hypersonic flow around conical bodies. Numerical calculations indicate, that the possibility of expanding the zone of applying the theory of small turbulences (perturbations), considering other approximations, in case of a flow directed around much thicker cones, rather than according to the theory of first approximation.
